I sure do, William. It's still very much on my project list, for a ten foot version.

I had stopped the animation, converted the gif to a negative, and projected a full size version to one of my "plastic table cloth" wireframe templates.

Built a jig to make one size of the side curly things (the top ones if I remember). Still need to build jigs for the others.

Bought the 1/4" slip tube so I can make it break apart for storage.

Started buying C7 LED dimmable retro bulbs from Paul's presale. It will take close to 500 of them.

Will probably start looking for white wire C7 stringers in the after Christmas sales this year to cut up for the sockets.

When I get it built, I'll use it as "yard art" in January and February after the Christmas display is down.

(What on earth caused you to bring that thing back up?) Have you started building yours yet?

No were close to building mine.

Probably will be next year's project.

I was putting links into the gallery and while submitting that link, I remembered.

That park display I use to help with bought one of those things. I said what a waste of money since I knew how much it cost. By the end of the season most of it was out. I bet it drew so much power it burned up the plugs.

That's why I'm using LEDs in mine. Will only use about 5 amps total.
