Default What software do use to create your website?

What software do use to create your website and why?

    I use Joomla myself.

I like it because it was free and to me easy to use.
I can update my site from anywhere as long as I have access to the internet.
They are hundreds of plugins available to customize your site.
Also you can still use HTML as you see fit.

I use Joomla for both Christmas In The Grove and
    Carolina Mini Workshop.

Ipower is the host for my website and they have a control panel with everything you need to create a website and it is very simple to use and learn.

I use CoffeeCup Visual Site Designer. It is fairly simple to learn and use. You buy the programs that you need. My site is simple but it works. When I initially created the site I only had a few days to get it up and running. Coffeecup VSD did the trick. I want to learn Dreamweaver but likely will not spend the time to do so.

We made Artificial trees (An online resource for artificial christmas trees) using Dreamweaver CS3 without using any open source Content Management System like Joomla etc...

My site is built by Dreamweaver CS4. But it was really crappy in the beginning and the learning curve was huge. So I hired a young lady from NC State and $100 later she made a nice site of it. This site is only for my scale model outboard business <KidColeModels.com>, so I will be looking for something simpler to fire up KidColeChristmas.com for my "Christmas Crap."
    Thanks,
