    Default Cat 5 Cable

    I'm looking for a good source, (meaning cheap) for cat 5 cable. I'm thinking it has to be cheaper someplace thane running to Target or Walmart and buying it that way.

    Thanks

    Where I got mine:
    Connectors:
    http://www.monoprice.com/products/pr...seq=1&format=2
    Cable:
    http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=400080148839
    Crimper:
    http://www.monoprice.com/products/pr...seq=1&format=2
    Stripper:
    http://www.monoprice.com/products/pr...#specification

    Lowe's sells a pretty good stripper and crimper for a pretty good difference in cost. Connectors at Lowe's are pricey.

    I got my cable and connectors from the same link Al posted above. Came pretty quick, too. Wasn't too expensive at the time. I think I caught it via a sale that someone posted here...

    Mark;

    I'm from East Brunswick.....I do remember Englishtown. Surprised its still there. I rember as a kid, I'd go with my Dad in the spring to get tomato plants from this guy every year. Of course as a kid you don't appreciate the "finds" at a flea market.

    Well, I guess I should clarify the "growing up" part. I lived in several places in North Jersey - born in Jersey City, but I spent late middle school and all of high school in Old Bridge. For some part of that time in high school, I was the "voice" for the pledge of allegiance and other announcements over the school PA at the start of school.

    Didn't get to the flea market or the racetrack in Englishtown much, but still have memories. So glad I moved south, but my mom and other siblings still live up that way...

    I hadn't gone there in many years, then after getting involved in this part time job of decorating, I've been going there almost every weekend. You would not believe what people leave behind at the end of the day that they couldn't sell. I've picked up blow molds, artifical trees, wire frames, computer PS.... you name it! And it looks the same as did when you two were here!!

    Sorry to the OP for the hyjack....
