White/Off White Cones to fit over mini trees.

My house is fairly close to the street and my mini trees are close to the curb. When I look at my mini trees it just doesnt look very smooth(best description I can think of). Has anyone ever seen an off white cone that will fit over the easel mini tress? I tried looking online for many different cones, with no luck. Plastic cones, cone lamp shades, paper cones, large funnels......a few possibilities but nothing like what I was picturing. If I could find plastic cones I may even try out just putting a light bulb under each one. I think it would look much cleaner and fades would be smoother on mini trees. Im all about the look of twinkling lights but the mini trees I have just look "messy".

How about coro? The lights underneath will still shine through, or even wax paper from the kitchen would difuse the lights, or thin nylon cloth?

You may have to make your own, perhaps a craft store would sell sheet of a translucent material.

Went to the craft store. Couldnt find anything that I could roll into a cone that was big enough or the right material. I did buy a roll of 24" craft/drawing paper. Its ok. I would just have to take them off every night so that dew or rain would ruin them and then theres the problem with wind. Yes I could figure all that stuff out, but it would be easier just to put a plastic cone over them, zip tie it to the wire easel and forget about it.

How about a painter's drop cloth (translucent plastic) or a white shower curtain, cut to size? When I mention drop cloth, I don't mean the clear stuff, but the something thicker that's milky white. Yes, you'd have a seam, but it wouldn't have to be taken off/put back on due to the elements.

I could get one tomorrow, but thats not the problem I dont think. I just get very picky about the way some things look. I used 2 easels for each tree. I stacked 2 together and formed them into more of a round cone Xmas tree shape. Kinda like what you do with tomato cages. I then put 3 strands of lights on them. Pretty straight forward mini trees. Its just that they are so close to the street that the fades and chase sequences dont have the effect I want because you are pretty close and can see all the individual bulbs. Just thought that by covering just the mini trees, my fades and chases would look cleaner, smoother, crisper. Here is something I ran accross (the 24 in cone)but I would have to spray paint the inside of the cone. stained glass paint?

They make a frosted glass type of paint. We sprayed it on the glass across the top of our front door since our stairs are directly in front of the door.
