OK I have figured out how to incorporate the CCR into my Christmas sequences...
I have set up the CCR using 150 channels 50 per color... Normal config setting... Sequential RRR GGG BBB and not Triples RGB RGB RGB.
With this setup you program just like we have in the past... Do not worry about colors right now... Just sequence for Red, Green or Blue.... Cut and paste what you have already sequenced. Most of my display is set up in multiples of 4s.... The Star I had last year had 8 arms... I just pasted what I sequenced last year for the star and pasted the REDs for the Star to the first 8 pixels or rows. Then repeat till you fill all red channels. 5 times I think... You will have Channel 49 and 50 the odd ones... I just repeated the first 2 rows...
I have always used red green and blue strings of lights... I did the same for my Greens and Blues.... When I played it back I had some cool effects and colors. I have also taken the first channel of the Star and repeated it 6 times the the second channel and repeated it on Channels 7,8, 9, 10, 11, 12. Do the same for the rest of the channels till all 50 channels are filled.... It gives a different result from the same portion of last years sequence...
I want to say one thing... The CCR is a wonderful device to produce some beautiful transitions... Really mesmerizing to watch. Reminds me of when I built my first light organ.
I have 5 sequences to share but can only get 2 to up load...
I hope this will help some get their CCR up and running...
