    Default Sequence problem

Wehn I finish a sequence and play it back using the animation in LOR S2 the animation is dead on with the music.... but when write the show through the LOR hardware panel and get it onto a SD card, play the show through the controllers the animation is way off with the music ( by at least a second).

I'm using LOR's mp3 director card and PC controllers.

The audio file I am using is the same as last year and did not have this problem.

The problem only seems to be at the beginning of the song.

The sequence was done on the previous LOR software (1.6 I think) and modified this year with the newer release (2.3.4).

Any help or suggestions would be great!!

    Thanks!

Did you run the song through Audacity? If not that might be your problem.

Some people on the LOR boards have posted something similar when going from S1 to S2. There is a "slew" adjustment in S2 that allows you to adjust the music with the sequence a little tighter. Just another thought.

When completing the show for the SD card, try not checking "Lock Step" in the final phase.

WOW!!! I really like you guys a lot. So many responces in such a short time.

I did run the audio through Audacity, basicaly import the audio file and saved it as an MP3.

I never check the lock step because from my understanding its only for those sequences that have numerous commands or a lot of controllers....

The slew control however I have no idea about..... some help on that would be great.

I'm going to run the show off the laptop tonight to see if that helps..

Have you upgraded the firmware in the director card?

What to the LED's do when you connect the card to the board?

And, what setting is the dial pointing to on the card?

All firmware has been updated, standard controller, dc-card, and MP3 card.

I don't remember specificaly what the LEDs on the MP3 card are doing. I will check later this evening.

Right now the show is running perfectly off the laptop... no lag, it's dead on.

Take that back.. LEDs on the MP3 card are doing the following:

No card: LEDs P light (green is solid), E light (red light flashing slowly)

When the card was inserted: P light stay solid, E light went off, then after a few seconds and right before the show started the R light (amber light) flashed maybe 2 or three times real quick then went off with the only light remaing on being the P light.
