Light Show Pro has added layering features that are amazing. The video is 23 minutes and amazing.

The "layers" look similar to what my conception of the LOR tracks are.

I may have to rethink my plan to buy an iDMX1000 during the June sale.....but then, this would probably cost me a lot more than the $98 (it's on sale right now) because I'd want to do everything RGB.

I've been working on the assumption that LOR would have some type of color wheel process coming soon, because of offering the CCR. They've implied it's coming, but no release dates, and none of the beta testers have really mentioned lately, at least not from what I've seen.

Jack, I struggled with the decision too. I am going with LOR this year unless the Tiger DMX is available by the end of June. It is as simple as that. The Mighty Minis are my main concern this year. S2 can handle that. I have an IDMX and will concern myself (and Walter) with it this year. Next year I will abandon ship and learn LSP and exceed my expectations. I have too much in transition this year.

I used LSP for all my CCR work last year and imported them into LOR.... Mostly for the blends. But the transitions...... Are the best part... The use of video to generate RGB effects is going to be hot... I was going to go with about 8 CCRs this year... But decided it was too early in the life of RGBs to spend the money on an evolving technology... So I am going with video being incorporated into the show... After all spending about $1300 for 6 CCRs to do very basic video did not make since when a video projector was less than $500 and has HD resolution....

So I am making videos right now for Christmas and Halloween....
