Larry don't listen to John. John has trouble getting his megatree up. Larry has people that line up to take his down.

You're supposed to take them down?

Thanks all! Maybe sometime we could do a poll on how many hours we spend/year on our "hobby". This year I spent 75 hours prep, 275 hours up and so far 75 hours down. Non of which includes sequencing.

One of the biggest things I've found with my first year doing programmable animated lighting is I need to plan more and spend more time on prep; it was a big difference from using the "GE Lights and Sounds of Christmas" for the two years prior or the static displays before that. And yes, my displays are taken down; my comment above just seemed to be an appropriate response at the time. Some of it waits for warmer weather, though; just doesn't get turned on.

Looks like the person taking the video had the best job.

Jack, I know what you mean. One year I thought I was finished the end of March and low and behold in mid April I noticed I hadn't taken down the tune your radio sign. I thought about leaving it til next year.

Duke, You're right. Unfortunately it was just my digital camera on robo, taking a picture every minute. Hey anyone know where I can get some robots to take down my display?
