Back to Work <unretired> so I went Static in 2017. Planning xLights when I retire <again>. Maybe 2019 ?
Falcon - 3 F16V3 & 1 PiCap, Sandevices - 2 E681 & 4 E6804, 288 Channels Lynx Express, 108 Channels DC DMX,
10' Pixel MegaTree, CoroFlakes w/Pixel Modules, Pixel RBLs, 2 Pixel Matrix 16x25, 10" RGB Ornaments, 7x230 Pixel Icicle Matrix,
Classic 20' AC Megatree, TIR Destiny RGB Spots, RGB Blowmolds, Wireframes, and Inflatables with External Light Control
The frames are built from 1/2" PVC Pipe and 1/2" metal conduit. The lights on the frame are C7's and the lights on the cars are mini. The pipe and conduit are bolted together and the lights are ty-wrapped. I dug 7 holes by hand 2' deep with post hole diggers and cemented 2 1/2" diameter pipe in the ground to support the frame and fastened the frame with stainless steel clamps to the pipes. We did not build these from scratch, they are part of the Blue Ridge Lights Display that we purchased in January. They were dismantled and brought down on flatbed trucks from Woodlawn VA. We had to re-assemble the frames and build the supports to mount them to. They had them held up with rebar and guy wires. The Ferris wheel is operated by a two channel controller and the roller coasted is operated by a three channel controller. Here are daylight pictures.
