  1. Re: My Trip to see Member's Sisplays in Eastern NC

It was great to meet you and your family in person. Your posts really helped last year when I was a clueless rookie. I don't think I would have pulled off the show without this forum. Thanks to you...

  3. Re: Does any cut 200 ct light strings in half?

Thanks. I figured it wasn't as simple as just adding a plug or two. Sounds like I should see if a neighbor wants my 200ct strings, or use them somewhere in my display where they are easier to handle....
  4. Does any cut 200 ct light strings in half?

I have a few 200ct LED lights, and they are the harderst to work with. Can I just cut the string in half and add some vampire plugs? Doesn't seem like it would be that easy. The wires look different....

Do I need store bought extension cords?

Do I really need the store bought cords? They are larger, heavier, and more expensive. My entire display is LED, and I don't need more than 50' of cord for any channel.

    I made cords from SPT-1...

Re: lor is now selling sequences

For a 2nd-year person, these look good. Creating sequences from scratch while learning the software is the biggest time consumer. I looked at a few and they were all for 48 channels. I'm going to...

    Re: Ideas for Palm trees

Thanks. I was trying to avoid renting the bucket truck. Yes, it's just too tall for a step ladder. That's why I was looking for some spotlight or other ideas.

Can someone offer some ideas on lighting up palm trees? I wrap the trunks, and will have for channels. I really like the heavily wrapped trunks. But I don't know what to do with the...
