    Here's a quick mockup- sorry for the poor quality!

    Here is 6 rectangle pixels. I "bushed-up" the PVC to 1".
    Any bigger and the lights wont mount through the hole on the lens/bulb.

    Agreed- I didnt think the job i had quoted would be the ideal- but gives a good sense of wha the price would be.
    Want to add another pixel? Figure $0.50 more per assembly.
    Want less lead wire?...

    The ones I had quoted are standard Ws2811 smart pixels- so you could do any tricks you like.

    I don't think I'd go as low as $100 for ASSEMBLED CTB16's (since even in the mad grab they go for $189 + taxi and shipping).
