8 tracks camcorder. The thing is the size of a missile launcher but the quality really shows through. The click click about 1/4 way through disturbs the "technophiles" but I don't care.

Ok smarty pants just because you have inferior equipment don't chastise mine. Here is a video that was shot using my superior 8 track camcorder. I don't like to drop star names but I'm sure you will recognize them. Please take note of my superior camera work. I'm sure William will respect the hard work I put into last year’s video.
Smarty pants.

Well Al,
I'm impressed. (Usually doesn't take too much to impress me)
How many of those "Missile Launcher" sized camera's do you have?
Or how many takes did it take to shoot that if you only used one camera?
How in the world did you edit the 8-track based video?
Need answers!!!! (please)
William, sorry about the train wreck (this early in your thread)
I'm really, really trying to behave here, but dang it, you also let let Al join this board, just because he is from Carolina. (I'm the Christmas Carolina mascot, and the token Tennessean)
You know he is a great big goof off, and he really pushes my buttons. I just have to respond to his useless dribbles, and then everything gets off track. I'm sorry William

Oh my. I will type really slowly so that John can keep up.
Naw John, we don't think of you as our mascot. We like our mascot. I can see that you don't keep up with retrotechno electronics. You won't find retrotechno electronics inside Walmart but you will in the parking lot out of the back of this guy's Ranchero. This guy will hook you up.
As for my camera work, it was impressive wasn't it. My 8 track camcorder has a button that when pressed gives the video the look of a 70s era video. That is all I'm going to say about my equipment. Besides, you wouldn't understand the lingo anyway.
Allow me to bring this thread back on topic. I use a Sony dcr-hc42 and it (or more likely me) does a crappy job of the videos. I tried all of the tricks you told us about last year and my videos still turned out crappy. Daytime videos are great though. However, the night time videos was the reason I purchased my 8 track camcorder. The only downside of my 8 track camcorder woud be that the batteries only last for 15 minutes, then I have to get out my truck's jumper cables and recharge the camcorder batteries.
Smarty pants.
Al
Did I mention, I clicked the link too.
Anyway... I use my news camera Sony PDF510 that shoots on Blu-Ray disc.
