    Default New member from Tennessee

2011 was my first year using animated lighting. Immensely enjoyed it. I'm converting a 7000 light, 32 LOR channel display to a 9000 LED, 80 LOR channel display in 2012. Being new to this wonderful hobby, I tend to have a few questions, especially about RGB since I'm planning on incorporating maybe a CCR or CCB string or two in 2012. Looking forward to speaking with some of you.
    Your friend in lights,
    Ron

Hey Ron. Glad you made it here. We answer all questions, and like Don Williams says,"There are no dumb questions". We like hearing about other people's displays too so chime in often.

    Welcome, Ron.

I'll have to find out where you are located, so that when I'm in the area this year at Christmas, I'll come see your display. We usually come to Pigeon Forge sometime in December, and Knoxville isn't too far away.
    Mark

New location - new display. Looking forward to 2015 season!

Thanks all, it's a pleasure. The other forums I'm part of have been so helpful during my first year. I know all of the forums are helpful. I've even had help from "Down Under"
    Everyone's invited.
Mark, from the Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg exit, we're about 20-30 minutes away In West Knoxville. We are about 2.5 miles from West Town Mall. And yes, by all means come by, knock on the door and we'll chat.

    Ron -

    Welcome.

RGB, huh? You might want to follow Mark's (mschell) posts. He's about to start a group buy on an E1.31 product, because when it comes to RGB, 80 channels just isn't enough.

LOR is working on supporting that; not there yet, but it probably won't be too long.
