    Default Greeting from North Carolina

Decided to join since i was lucky enough to attend the CCC in Mooresville. Hi my name is Alan, the moniker of "Docwakins" has followed me for more years that I can count.

I currently have an Olsen 595, 2 home etched Grinch Boards and finishing up 2 Ren 24SS and a Ren SS8 and enough SSRs for 128 channels. This year will probably be 56 Renard Channels and a few from the Olsen.

Glad to be here and hope to get some good ideas and share a few on the way...

Welcome Alan, I havent seen you since we were at Waynes and you got the "Help" distress call over the radio.

Glad you were able to make it to the convention, you no doubt saw we had alot of fun at the convention and it continues here as well. We take great pride in giving each other a hard time now and then but it's all in fun.

thanks all -- yeah i tend to sit back, soak it all in then when i feel comfortable I become less of a wall-flower! Plus its not often i have a weekend without many "help" calls, there were plenty because of server work the night before but I just let me phone make noises.

    Hi Alan,
I tried to meet everyone but you slipped through. Regardless, welcome. Maybe next year we will go around the room and introduce ourselves except for the DemineraledElk (maybe his name was DemoralizedEel, DemagnetizedElp, or whatever he calls himself) whose real name is Kevin. He needs no introduction. Maybe his name was DemanacuredMex, DecementedEx, DementedMilk, DelaminatedFff. Then again it could have been DemannedEeek.

Regardless, welcome Alan (Al is short for Alan too).
    Al

I remember now, it was DemanuredSelf. No that wasn't right either. Maybe it was DemingledEgg. No that isn't right.....

WOW, it appears that some of us ( John) may have rubbed off on the Elf during the convention. We're gonna have to be more careful next time, the smart alec virus that spread from TN seems to be affecting everyone in the Carolinas as well.
