Al, These look promising. I'm going to upgrade this year to led spot lights on the front of the house. Cost is a big factor for me to.

Vic, if you want to borrow the spot to try it out let me know. One or two would fix you up just fine. You too might want to permanently mount it.

Rob, do you want to borrow it? I'm in Cary often on business and could drop it off. PM me with an address if you do.

Denny, even if he doesn't, LOR has promised a cheaper version of the iDMX this year. Using the iDMX module allows the usage of lighting fixtures that are used all over the world by lots of people and still remain with Lightorama software.

Another alternative is to take the sequences from Lightorama's S2 software (assuming the sequences were originally written in that software) and use a $60 USB to DMX converter and run everything through LightShowPro software. At the convention and possibly the next TASL meeting, everyone should be able to see the conversion done directly. It ain't rocket science but it does require one to leave the Lightorama comfort zone. Furthermore, LightShowPro software has many advantages over Lightorama software, but that subject has been beat to death here.

I was hoping for the cheaper DMX controller to come out during the summer, but I'd bite the bullet and get the iDMX if really needed and I couldn't borrow/rent/steal one...

First time poster. This flood is EXACTLY what I'm looking for. Does anyone know where they can be purchased?
