    Thumbs up ConceptDraw 7, Free

    From FW:

You can get a FULL version of ConceptDraw 7, a business and technical drawing software program by filling out the form in this link. You'll immediately be given a personal serial number via email. Proceed to download the 30 day trial version from here and after it's completed go to your email to register your serial number.

Voila! Free permanent full version of this program.
"It is intended for drawing schemes and diagrams of different kinds: business diagrams and flowcharts, network diagrams and software charts, technical drafts, floor and landscape plans. ConceptDraw 7 allows import and export files to a large number of raster, vector, multimedia and text formats".

Yes the MSRP is ridiculously inflated but free is better. File is quite huge, 16 minutes at 1.5-3Mb/sec DSL.

Anybody try Google Sketchup? It is free. I have seen some amazing drawings done with sketchup. I'm currently trying to learn how to do a shed design with full dimensioning.

Love sketchup. Did a basement plan for our basement. Was neat being able to see where we could put everything before we started work. Of course, we have to empty the basement of all our "stuff" before we can start work... But then I keep putting more lights into it...
