Default Walter is firing up his lights tonight for us

Walter will be firing up his lights tonight (Wednesday Jan 13) at 7pm. I didn't get to see them so he kept them up and tonight will be the final night. His address is 6025 Wintergreen Drive. A few of us will be there tonight. It will be fun to see yall again. Please note that it will be one show and you must get out of your car.

Walter had technical difficulties and didn't get it fully operational. Maybe next year. Mel, Denny, and my neighbor Bruce attended. Everybody got to see the Bethlehem Star that we made to which will be on display at the meeting next month. We will have a workshop to build the star and other wireframes soon. We'll talk about that more next month at the meeting.

I enjoyed myself too. Denny and I went back to Bruce's after we left. My feet was frozen by the time I got home.

We had some good discussion and nice to see some lights. Yes, that star is an awesome design.

For the group - - be prepared for 180 C9 bulbs (at 7 watts each for standard and 9 watts each for the super-C9s) !! I gotta admit tho. It's bright enough to lead the 3 wisemen and a couple million of their closest friends... ! An amazing look with only 3 channels (as I recall). I'm sure it'll do tricks with about 8 or 10 channels on it on it.

Since Paul (CDI) is offering his dimmable LED replacement bulbs for about $1 each .. this star could be a good candidate. It is begging for a power reduction. I wish I had a chance to see the LED replacement bulbs first tho. I don't like bright white LEDs at all, nor the blue-white LEDs. But I am in a pickle, so I will call Paul next week or so. I am hoping that his warm white looks like an incandescent. Also, his website lists warm white for the 5-LED C9 replacement bulbs, but his discount sheet does not !

I am going to try to prepare for an order by the end of Jan (while I'm laid up). It might be next week before I see your replies.
    Thanks,

    .
    Denny,

On Paul's sale sheet, under C9 Retro, look at the SUN White. Very close to an incadescent

    Denny,
I can bring some of Paul's C7 replacements (in Sun White) from last year to the meeting in February. They dim well and look very close to incandescents....I don't have any of the C9, but the C7's did look good outlining my roof. I think I have some pictures...
