    Default Snowflakes in Motion

I stumbled onto this link a while back. It is for Snowflakes in Motion which is a 14" snowflake that is ruggedly made. I believe they have a "special" of $65 for a case of 12 which includes shipping. I bought a case and I am quite pleased. You normally find this level of "quality" in commercial displays usually costing more. I like snowflakes and they look tasteful covering a roof. I am biased though. I plan to buy more. Maybe we could do a group buy.

The website was put together by firstgraders but the content does convey.

I would be interested in 24 of them, if and when a group buy happens or when they have them back in stock.

    Thanks for the link.

I bought 3 cases of them earlier this year. One case in March and 2 in July. Like Al said, very well made.

Combining these 36 with some other snowflakes I had, I'm building a "Snowflake Forest". 49 snowflakes in vertical columns of 7 each, LOR controlled. I took the flasher bulbs out of them for this application.

Jack has has these for quite a few years. He had a wonderful idea, and had them made up, and they were priced too high and not marketed very well. I understand that he has been trying to close them out now for some time. If he is out of stock, I personally doubt that he will have any more inventory. I just tried to order another case (for spares), we'll see what happens.

Haven't received an acknowledgement of the order I placed this morning.

Just sent Jack an email tonight, maybe I'll hear something by tomorrow if they are still available or not.

Got an email from Jack this morning:

    Hi John,
I posted a reply on the snowflakes in motion thread that Matt started
yesterday that we sold the last of them. I can't believe the response from
that thread. We would still have them for the rest of the season, but
thanks to Planet Christmas members, we ran out. It is a great product as
you know and we were lucky to be able to create it, even though we lost a
    lot of money doing it.
Your case is going out today.
    Thanks,
    Jack

Looking on PC, I found a thread from November 3, 2008 and bumped up again Sept 14, 2009 about these...... so that helped Jack sell the last of the 7500 he had had made several years ago.

If my case ships today, then I'll have 48 of these.

I'll use them with the incadescent mini's this year, then convert them to LED for next year.

Thanks for bringing this item back up Al, as I had planned to wait until next spring to order the additionals snowflakes. Got them just in time.
