Default Lenovo Public Sale - 04 Dec, Morrisville, NC

    From Corporate this morning:

Please plan to join Lenovo on Saturday, December 4th for their Warehouse Sale! The sale will be at Lenovo's Building 3 from 8 a.m. - 3 p.m. and is open to the public.

Hundreds of great items will be available, including more than 1,200 ThinkPad and IdeaPad notebooks. Other items include headsets, hard drives, LCD monitors, speakers, batteries and more, at greatly reduced pricing. We will have new, used and "scratch & dent" products. As with previous warehouse sales, this is not an "order and ship" event -- you take home anything you purchase at the sale.

We look forward to seeing you on Saturday, December 4!

Default Re: Lenovo Public Sale - 04 Dec, Morrisville, NC

I've attended this sale before and it's awesome. A couple years ago I bought a pair of UNC model laptops (loaded loaded loaded) that were list price $2700 each. They were priced at $800 in the sale. There has always been a lot of the previous year's laptops in the $300 - $400 range for $800 to $1000 units. I always get the stories from the guys in the front of the line who pick up a laptop for $150 to $200 also .. Ya never know ...

But here's the downside. The front 50 to 100 people will get there by about 2am and camp out all night in their folding chairs. I got there at 3am for the very first sale and there were at least 50 people in front of me. I would not be surprised if people will be there all night ! By 6am there will not be any parking left and there will be 500 or more people in line. It gets worse from there !

You have to be brave and aggressive to be a big winner for these sales ...
    Thanks,
