I think they have an extra zero on the sell price. But there must be more than meets the eye. I hope they have a detailed list. I will ask and then post it here in case there's a possible group deal (for a lot less than $1500 tho) ..

There's apparently more than what is shown. I called them and those pictures were in the newspaper. They are going to try to make a list and send to me. He described a lot of wireframes, including some giant candy canes and manger that I might be interested in. Wireframe Deer, penguins, etc etc. A few wooden figures with lights. Many of the Wireframes are the animated type .. so if we consider dividing them up, then some of these might go to people who can use the animation controllers. For those whose systems are entirely wired to controllers (as mine), we would have to bypass anything with external control and rewire it to our own controller channels.

Once I get a list I will share it. Then we can see if there's interest and of course what we might give the for the whole thing.

The sellers (husband and wife) said they didn't have anything written down, and it may take them a few days to get a list. We'll see if they create one for us, or if someone else jumps in without a list. I am not too worried. I am guessing their price is high enough that they're not too likely to find any quick buyers...

Like Brad said, not sure I see $1500 here. They're probably thinking about retail prices, but they won't get anywhere close to that for what's listed.

I'm not interested in the extension cords, multi plug boxes or anything that's got "holographic" or fiber optic in the title. The wireframe nativity definitely has my interest, as well as snowman "stuff", but not at full price.

That's the fun of a group buy - you've got to get enough interest in the things people want to pay for the full package, and then figure out what to do with the stuff nobody wants.

I am using the reply with quote feature to copy this list and put in some guesses at values. Then you guys can do the same and give me what you think. My total ads up over $1400, but some of my prices may be too high. Help me take a shot at the values of this stuff ! I figure if we can agree on the value of this stuff, then we'll try to get takers for all of it. I still like the candy cane archway...

    Denny, I am interested in
    Candy cane lights
wire frame nativity if the price isn't exorbitant.
and stuff that would fit my needs: possibly a wireframe Santa or wireframe of something toy bag related

I wonder if the wooden reindeer and Santa could be those 3D painted wooden pieces. The photos on Craiglist sort of look like it. If so, they could be worth more than $100. Maybe twice that or more. It is hard to tell without a photo. I should caution you that the last time that Larry and Carl (Brad and myself to a lesser extent) made a similar buy, the person that sold it said pieces were there that actually never appeared. A couple of the missing pieces were the underlying reason for the group buy. Larry and Carl got screwed out of a prize piece. So, you might want photos and inspect it beforehand.

Sounds good Al. I've asked for pictures and they made excuses for not being able to. I think they mostly don't want to pull them out of storage. Mark already asked about the nativity .. I've not heard from William or Brad yet ..

Guys, any other comments about my valuations ? What do we offer ? Somehow we need to divide the whole thing to make this work.
