    Default Lowes Hardware

For those who want to jump early keep your eyes open! I went through Lowes hardware today and they are gearing up for the transfer in the Garden Center! They are hanging up there plan o grams for the Christmas items so I feel they will have things rolling out here in the next few weeks.

Yes the one in Stanleyville, they have all the packets hanging on the shelfs for the plan o grams so you know the items are not far behind. I will keep my eyes open. Those poor people about had a cow last year because I was bought like 10 cases of minis from them before halloween so they thought I was going to drain there inventory before the season. But at Lowes I learned the earlier you hit them the better the selection and the better chance you get what you want before they sale out. Actualy they are also fixxing to set there halloween plan o gram also.

OK, my local Lowe's in Pittsboro seem to be clearing shelves - spacing current inventory with open area between items - but nothing showing holiday stuff yet.

There was a post on PC that stated she had spoken with a store manager where she was from and they said that by the first to second week of September everything should be rolled out.

It official Lowes of N Winston is getting to be pretty well stocked. There are still bear spots but overall starting to be good enough to give a good idea of what is going on. Lots of the lights and figures are out. Inflatables are there just not set up.

I noticed the Lowes here have their Halloween stuff out, including lots of blowups and animated stuff. I also notice they are doing the same thing as last year where they put lots of storage containers lining the shelves near the Halloween stuff .. later those containers get stacked as they add in the Christmas items.

We were south of Atlanta the past few days, and stopped at a Hobby Lobby that had tons of their Christmas stuff out. Although they had tons of decorating items, I was disappointed with how few lights they actually had .. Probably 20% of what we find at Lowes and at Target stores. I was also saddened to see that Hobby Lobby does not carry much the gas powered RC stuff. Just a few accessories and fuel. Little to no models. I tiny fraction of what they used to be. Sadly, they are becoming like Michaels I will stop hoping for a Hobby Lobby here. Small local hobby stores carry 10 times more of the "good stuff" these days ..
