Default Setup *might* be different this year

Starting to think that setup time this year MAY be a little longer than than in previous years...

I see you bought a few things... We need to get together and try to do a LOR to XLights conversion some time.

Please keep me posted. I would like to do the same. Or if you'd rather stick to one migration first to work out the kinks, let me know when we could get together after you wrestle Scott's. I am starting to fix my LOR channel plan to make sure I have no "holes" in my channel order. I am also working on moving my megatree from 32 channels to 64 channels. And making some sequencing changes to go with that. I think it's simpler to do them in LOR, then migrate. I am going to start a new post for a discussion on this channel layout (for the megatree).

I'm in the midst of a major remodel. Totally redoing master closet / bedroom / bath. The bath is going down to the studs. This will be my world for the next two months. I may have some time to get together in a month or so. I'd definitely like to have a better 'handle' on it before the next TASL meeting in Aug. But to be honest I haven't touched any Christmas stuff in months. Just a really busy year for me.

aye, that we do. I haven't done ANYTHING since our last conversation. Which, of course, was right before I had the additional task of job searching thrust upon my already full plate... And as Denny can attest, I've never been so busy as when I wasn't working!

Not yet. I was expecting to have heard back on a Red Hat position yesterday, but nothing yet. I meant to talk to the contract team today, but the day got away from me.

Since I am new to all this my channel count was not as high but I migrated several sequences from LOR to Xlights with 64 channels and had very little problems. Let me know if you need some help. I did this early in the year before the new version of Xlights but based on posts I have seen it is getting more streamlined all the time. The Xlights team is making improvements every day it seems. We just got our baby home from the hospital so I'm a little busy the next month or so. But after that I would be glad to help.

Awesome Eric. Congratulations ! We have 4 kids .. first 3 girls then a boy. The girls are "all grown up" with families, houses and car payments, and each has one child (so 3 grandchildren to us). Our son is 17 going on 35. He graduates tomorrow and starts ECU in August.
    Thanks,

I am in need of a miter saw if anyone has one I can borrow for a few days. Putting in new shoe and crown molding. I have table saws, hand heads, routers, planers but no miter saw. And wouldn't you know I have a few 22.5 degree cuts to do. My little manual miter box won't do those.

Thanks, picking up Scott's. Well, while I'm completely hijacking this thread (so sorry) anyone have a good wet tile saw? Mine will work but it is kinda tearing up the couple tiles I did. Tiling all weekend.
