    Default Welding rings

Does anybody know of a source for rings that are make of steel? The rings would be 1/4" or thicker with diameters of 2, 4", and somewhere around 8".

Walter and I are planning to build a shuttle for the megatrees. The rings will be welded to make part of the shuttle. So, the rings will need to be somewhat beefy.

    Al,

How many of each size are you looking for in the rings? Thinking that a steel yard or actually a place local here in Mooresville might be able to help. We can check on it for you if you want to shoot me an email, we can talk more about it and see if we can help.

    Thanks,

    Lisa & Scott

    Hi Lisa and Scott,

I reviewed William's megatree photos and decided that William's way of making the shuttle might be a better way to make ours. I'll send you a PM when I get it figured out. William's ring uses only one ring which looks to be 12". Thanks for helping.
