Default LOR 16 DC board common question

If I'm correct, the LOR DC board actually switches the negative. If correct, has anyone used a common positive for several channels? I sort of remember John saying he was planning on this.
What I want to accomplish is to run a common wire for some RBFs.

    Thanks.
