Agreed. For me, time is important. I enjoy the fact that LOR is plug and play. Does the new stuff make it easy to build a display with pixels and regular LEDs in a single show?

I believe all your LOR sequences would translate fine, over to the PI player. And with the set process you could probably keep using your LOR sequence editor, then translate into Falcon, and use xLights as your player and your pixel effects editor.

Joe Tripp is our resident Pi expert and we'll tap his brain for the knowledge and resources to run a display with one or more Pi players. I would like to see Joe do an overview at the Feb TASL. We can make it 60 or 90 minutes to get through the basics of moving a LOR or Vixen display, over to Pi player with xLights.

We're planning a Pi Day for everyone to learn this stuff in more detail. I would like to suggest that we make it either a Saturday or a Sunday to give as many as possible a chance to attend. Perhaps a week or two after the Feb TASL meeting? We should start to figure out when we're going to do this, and where !
    Thanks,

Testing 123 .. we're having trouble posting to this topic.

but also, let's use the other one that we have had running for the past month. It's confusing when we have two posts with the same discussion.

Joe, please see if you can put your resources reply into the other one !
