    Default Seeking LOR 485B Adapter

After 5 hours of searching, I am not having any luck with finding my 485B adapter. Unfortunately I took it out several times for meetings and training .. and have managed to lose it good. So I thought I would query the group to see if there's an extra in town that I could borrow or buy.

I will also keep looking for mine when I get home Sunday night. Aaarrrgggghhhhh !

I will be out of town for the weekend and check posts when I get back ..
    Thanks,

Denny, I may have another one somewhere. I'll see what I can do.

What a way to ruin your cruise on that 1.8M boat. I hope that's not 1.8 meters but 1.8 million dollars that you'll pawn to get your house covered in RGB nodes.

If I had a spare LOR RS485 dongle, I'd make sure I'd get it to you, but alas, I don't.

I hope your 3 day tour turns out better than the one that Carnival put on, and that you come home to find your adapter right where you put it so you wouldn't forget where it is. Failing that, I hope Al finds his spare one for you.

Awesome guys. If you can bring one to the TASL on Wednesday, I appreciate it ! I will keep looking for mine and I know I will find it .. but spending untold hours looking is not very productive right now. I will get back your loaner as soon as I can.

Yes, Jack $1.8 Million boat. What a honey. I drove the boat quite a lot (at least an hour or more), including cranking her up on some 5 footers out on the ocean this morning. We spent most of the time on the Intercoastal .. drove up and docked in Wilmington Friday night .. and stayed in a bay near Wrightville beach last night. The boat is 62 feet long and 17.5 feet wide. Twin 700 hp Cat diesel engines .. I am massively relaxed right now. Too bad I have to hit work early tomorrow and get back into knots again by noon.
    Thanks,

Denny - If my regular 45 that I bought works, you can use the B I purchased later on. Won't know for a few weeks, though...

    Denny -

Sounds like it'd be a really good stand-in for the "priceless vase".....not all you have to do it pawn it and get the RGB nodes shipped and set up in time......

See you all Wednesday; I may have a lead on a larger place to hold these in the future, off 64 in the Cary/Apex blending area.
