just waiting on the ssr's to show up. I started to work on it at like 10 last night and cut the heat sinks (oh loads of fun). Also Made the heat sink for the High Power box. Got to love flying hot aluminum in the middle of the night.

The shards from the cutting will haunt you for months. The problem is a magnet won't pick them up.
There is a lubricant that you can squirt on the aluminum to make it easier to cut. I can't remember the name --something like tapease. Wayne would know. But it makes cutting heatsink stock much, much more civil. Be sure to file the cut edge to allow it to set flat otherwise it will make it sit proud of the semiconductor and defeat its purpose.

Oh man. I emailed D-Light Designs for some images of their Servo8 and Firefly controller. They emailed me back and said how about we send you a complete Firefly with controller and a Servo8 controller with stuff necessary to see it work. WOW. It is in the mail as we speak. Our meeting just got supercharged again. WOW.
OK I'll bet John drives down now.

I will not be able to make it also, but I sure wish someone is taking notes on the propane fueled fire nozzle so I can get the info from. John are you going? Could you be a sexretary and take notes?

Actually, Darryl Quinn from D-light mentioned the feed today. I told him that we may have the feed depending on whether William makes it here. It could be good exposure for ChristmasCarolina.
Denny wants to have some future meetings on software. I second that. I'm trying to learn Light Show Pro and it a little different that S2.
We need to find a permanent (less expensive) place for our future meetings. Please put on your thinking caps.
John quit complaining and drive on down. I know you want to.
