I will write up a BOM. I will coordinate with @Matt Rausch about the Falcons. I have a separate show router so I can bring it and you can see the stuff working in real time. The real time changing of settings with your phone is where it gets cool.

I have another topic idea. Useful gizmos, gadgets and tools. For example an amp meter and a pixel tester. Both cost about $10 and are very useful.

Excellent. Some of us have been showing those kinds of things on tables during the meeting and informally pointing them out. I like to do the same. I just got my pixel tester going and plan to show it running a string of pixels at the meeting. Probably driving my tree topper pixel star. Mine is rectangular white one with DMX on the left and one pixel output on the right. I bought the 12 amp model. In case yours is different, bring it along.

Bring anything you have along these lines. Showing stuff running is always appreciated!
@FrankP Frank Pleshe is also into a bunch of gadgets. I hope he brings some of his in a demo form too.
    Thanks,

Good stuff and cheap. Yes, mine is quite a bit more expensive than yours. I bought it from Holiday Coro for $39 because I didn't want to wait for the China shipment for $10 less. Plus I had an order in progress with Holiday Coro and it didn't add anything to the shipping I was already Paying.

Pixel / Smart / Intelligent RGB DMX Controllers

As for my power meter, we've been recommending The Kill-a-Watt for years. I bought mine in 2010 for $10 on sale. These days they are closer to $20 with Amazon Prime free shipping. But if you keep looking on eBay you can find used ones in great shape for $6 or $8.
