Sean Meighan @smeighan will join us around 11am (E.S.T.) for an xLights talk.

This meeting is for anyone and everyone who are curious about running your show with one or more Pi computers. The most recent Pi computer is $5 but those are in short supply right now (everybody wants them)! For hardware planning in advance of the meeting, refer to this post: Converting from LOR <or most anything> to Falcon Pi

@Tripplett Joe Tripp will lead the group discussion. Joe recommends that everyone start with a Rasberry Pi 2. The 8GB CanaKit on Amazon is the simplest start.

This is @scottmcl Scott McLellan's housing area Pool House. It's very comfortable, plenty of room, and it has a bar and kitchen.

HOURS: 10am to 3pm would work .. we could go longer if needed.

LUNCH: Scott has suggested that everyone bring $5 to pick in for Pizza. This will be more efficient with our time. We'll try to get a range of toppings for everyone. Bring your own beverages, snacks, etc. Sharing is OK.

I probably can't do Feb 13th. Kids are out of school and we are considering going skiing that weekend. Plus it's Valentines weekend <3
I would be open to hosting if it is warm enough to do most of it outside. I have a huge driveway. I could host about 12-15 inside in my sunroom area but much more than that would be difficult.

I updated Post 1 showing the Pool House. If you get approval, please send me the address so I can list it on Post 1. I am showing the hours to be 10 to 3 .. but we could go longer if we're not through it all.

We need someone to contact Sean Meighan to see what we can set up for him to chat with us. He has a conference system but we will need Internet and would be nice if we can get onto a big screen. Can anyone provide Internet for Sean's segment ?

Ok, we got the room for that date. I requested 8-5 so that gets us some setup time, too. I have to open it to the neighborhood to make it free. I'll write a quick blurb for them and say that they have to read about falcon player before coming. And maybe even come to the 06 Feb session, too!!

Also, the space should have Internet, but I'll validate that. I can also setup a google hangout if Sean can manage that way. I have cameras and stuff that we could use if needed. Though I want to learn more than play "video setup guy" during the session...
