Not sure if anyone was thinking or knew about The Academy that is held in Texas this year. I have heard that this is an awesome show and well worth the trip.

I'm thinking about it....not sure yet though.
Are you going to be flying or driving?

While the Lone Star Holiday group is a good one, and I've been to 2 or 3 of their events, I won't be making it down there this year.
I'd rather not name names, but the addition of another group from another state to this year's event is not an incentive for me to attend.
There, I've tried to be good, in that if I can't say something nice about someone else, I just won't say anything....
Sorry for being cryptic but I'm not going to badmouth someone in a public forum - it's just a personal opinion thing.
Maybe I can get Al and Rupert to come pick me up in the Christmas Carolina Chopper!!!
Nahh Rupert has the chopper up on blocks fixing the bearings or something. The guy wouldn't know a bearing from a bear butt. And honestly, the TASL meetings have great presentations that are cutting edge.

Alrighty Mark, I have no idea which group you mean. You can tell me, I wont tell anyone but Shannon, Chris (all 14 of them), Jack, Charity, Walter, Denny, Scott, Vic, Mike (all 14 of them), Deb ( I almost forgot about her).....

I knew ir. Mark told me the group. Honestly, we cover most of this stuff locally at the TASL meetings and now at the other meetings. Mark is right though.
I was hoping to hit some of the other conventions, but only where I have current family (NJ and OH) Texas is where my first wife's ex husband lives; no reason for me to go there......the step-kids just hit me up for money anyway.
now thats funny right there but so true to life
My uncle had a little honey on the side for about 20 years, down in Texas. That's what I thought Texas was for ..![]()
