Default Time for a Triangle Area Synchronized Lighting (TASL) meeting.

I think we need to have a TASL meeting. How about another S2 software meeting or do you guys want something else. We need to discuss hosting the convention next year. If we do a software meeting, does somebody want to host? I think around Sep 25-30 time frame would be good for me. Any thoughts on the date?

How about Oct 6, Wednesday at 7pm at Starbucks. If that date works then I'll start a new thread.

Anybody is welcome to come - your profile shows you in FL, so if you want to hop a flight - come on!

Depending on schedule, I might make it over that way.

In this case, I think Roger means newbie to NC. He's moving here over the next two weeks, and will no longer be a "co-worker" to me.

Currently, he is all DMX, but sequencing is sequencing.

Talking Re: Time for a Triangle Area Synchronized Lighting (TASL) meeting.

Awww, Jack you sound a little saddened by that... LOL Would you rather have me as a co-worker, or neighbor? LOL

Jack's right.. I'm in the process of relocating to beautiful NC. He also knows I'm sweating the sequencing, so that's why he pointed this meeting out. Guess I should have clarified this as I made that previous posting..

I'm looking forward to meeting a lot of you guys!

We can talk about sequencing too Roger. When you come, try and bring a sketch of what you want your display to look like and a list of your controllers. It will amaze you how many good suggestions you will get from the group. These really are fun meetings. Our formal meetings usually have topics that are very interesting dealing with things that are soon to be hot topics in the hobby. Also, there are several engineers in our group, mostly electrical but some of other disciplines, that can answer just about any question you have.

    Al,
To tell the truth, with my moving and everything, my display might be postponed (at least my Halloween display), so I have no idea what I want to design for a display yet.

My biggest headache has been learning how to use sequencing software, and getting all the little spots and intervals just so... I currently use LSP and all DMX controllers (RJ's DLA Lynx Expresses and an MR16 controller at the very least!) I know that I can move controllers and interfaces around as need be, but it's the sequencing that kills me.
