I've been seeing these links thrown around... so I thought they needed to be posted here.

I want to rewire all my inflatables by inserting a plug and socket for each light circuit. I currently only have SPT2, and those appear too large for cutting into the inflatable wiring. Do the inflatables typically use SPT1, or are there a million non-standards from the far east where they are made ? What are my alternatives ?
    Thanks,

Most lights use SPT-1. Walter and I found that out today. I recommend that you buy a few of these if you plan to modify C7, C9s, inflatables, or blowmold wiring. The HD plugs will fit the wire. I wish we had a few of these today. We bought SPT-2 for the group buy simply because it was what SkyCraftSurplus had in stock and because SPT-2 has a thicker sheathing making it better for extension cords that lay on the ground and could be stepped on. SPT-1 wire has it place though.

At that price I couldn't resist.

I had purchased 500 from Noverlty Lights earlier this year at 55 cents each in white and green.

The ad shows these as brown or white with no choice of color when ordering.
I received my order of 200 of these last Wednesday, they were all green, a darker shade of green then Novelty's or CDI's. But at 36 cents each, who cares!

I need about 25 of each. Does anybody in Raleigh want to share a case of each?

    Al,

Home Depot online only has the Male Plugs.

The females have been out of stock for over a week.

Darn, I was going to suggest going in on a case of each with somebody. If we can find both sexes, I'm in on a share deal. I could use 25 of each but don't ind buying into 50 ..
