Apparently China still thinks they own Taiwan. I never knew this until recently. There was a political stink over it this week. Apparently the US government has also ignored Taiwan and spoken only with China. But Trump talking direct to Taiwan.

Cool Re: AC input solid state relay (SSR)

I have had these two SSR's since last November and I finally wired them up with plans to use them in this years display to control some of our inflatables. I still have to find something to place them into to protect them from the elements and accidental electrocution...

What are the dimensions of the relays? I have several TA200 cases I will not need.

Awesome, thanks for the offer Eric!
    The relays are about 3"x2"x1"
I also have some heat sinks on order for them, not sure on the dimensions of them or if they are really needed for what I am doing...

i have 3 moving wire frames that the motors kept blowing tracs i started using relays 4 years ago and have not blown a trac sence altho io use the c 9 inside the box as per don directions to catch blow back surges which can be as bad as motor draw.
are you sure we checked every bulb?why is that one pixel staying on

I got a couple of heat sinks for the relays, not sure that I need them but they can't hurt to have!

I also picked up some cheap Tupperware style containers to put the relays in to protect them from the weather and for electrical safety. I'm not sure yet on how I'm going to feed the wiring out of the containers...

Cool Re: AC input solid state relay (SSR)

I completed one of my SSR setups:

    -dxkht3s.jpg

I made cut outs in the sides for the wires to pass through and the lid doesn't completely snap into place anymore... I used a little silicone to help hold the lid in place. I drilled and tapped holes in the heat sink and used zip-ties with screw mounts to hold the wires in place and keep them from being pulled from the connections.
