    Default New Panel Installation

This question is mainly for Walter but anyone can answer.

Have their been any changes to the NEC about outdoor GFCI installations? I know you're suppose to use bubble covers, but, if I understand correctly, those GFCI's are suppose to be weather resistant.

I'm installing another panel with meter hub which requires an inspection. This will only be seasonal.

My electrical knowledge is slowly fading away the longer I stay in TV news.

There are three must have for outdoor outlets. must be GFCI, Tamper resistant and have a bubble box. Just a little side note if you use a metal box with pvc make sure you ground the box and then pigtale to the plug. Also any knock out over 3/4" you must have a bushing to protect the wire even on PVC.

I heard it must also be Tennessee proof which is about 80 proof if I remember correctly. Or is that Tennessee resistant?

I'd ask John but he doesn't come around here much anymore. He must have a girlfriend like Brad. Not that his girlfriend looks like Brad. Not that there is anything wrong with Brad's looks mind you. But then again I wouldn't want a girlfriend that looked like Brad and neither would John. And I would most especially not want a girlfriend that looked like John.

    William, I hope this helps.

Al, I'm here every day. sometimes twice. After all, I have to keep up with all the useless dribble you expouse. I just haven't seen the need to clutter this fine board with more of my own, when you are puttling out enough for both of us.

Oh please. You are not here every day. And using two dollar words here won't help your case. And quit running to William each time I say something. Tattletale.

Most of the time you are lucky to see only one serious response before they go to ........... and it's always Al's fault,......... not mine

Yeah right. Its takes two people to tango buster.

William if you let Walter have an oil change can I have one too. But then again John would yack too much and do a sloppy job. Maybe I'll pass on the oil change. My truck needs washing though. Willam please instruct your loyal servant to not let the soap dry on my truck while he is dutifully washing it.
