I am at the dock soldering MM boards and I have been pushing the power supply and LOR DC controller around the box. I could not find more than one standoff hole to match up with anything.
John/Mark, I recall one of you showed a picture or your completed case. What techniques are you guys using for mounting your power supply? I was thinking stainless bolts and nuts with aluminum standoffs, but they would have to have the threads stick out the back of the case unless I trim them perfectly to length to fit exactly through the power supply's bottom plate. The power supply has no actual mounting holes without being dis assembled. It must have been made to fit snugly into a carrier of some sort. Even dis assembly looks like I might disrupt some of the heatsink. Straps would be the simplest mounting method but not very professional looking. I always like to get a range of ideas for my projects. I want it to look like it was designed for the case rather than a hack job .. Ideas welcome ..
