Thomas, just stay away from that guy named John, and everything will be OK! I'm sure your luck will change.

Maybe you should file a complaint with William and get him banned.

The rev of boards that I have from Frank's last buy is v1.4, and definitely has 8 connections. I know that he didn't update the schematic on his website.

I have yet to get the latest order. I'm hoping to hear that Frank starts shipping them this week, but probably not in enough time to get them before the Welding workshop this weekend.

As for that guy John, I hear he has a mean red cup attraction....

    Mark,

Thanks again for the clairification on the boards. That is good news.
I hope Frank recovers soon from his massive marathon bicycle ride this past weekend, and starts shipping the boards out soon.

Got a shipping notice tonight as well, which means that those that purchased the PCBs via the group buy will soon see some of what they spent their money on....

I would like to invite you guys to a soldering party at my house when the LEDs and boards come in. I have 16 of them to assemble. Also, I have 3 each 50% assembled Lynx Express, and 16 SSR4s coming in. I should buy a pick and place and wave soldering machine.

Then again, I could ship this stuff to John and get him to assemble them at 50 cents a board (highway robbery if you ask me).

Remember Al you get what you pay for. Bad solder joint, cold solder joint, etc. You spend more time repairing than doing it yourself.

Well dang, Thomas. Al was bad enough with the knife in the back, but you had to go and really twist it.

I was going to offer to ship my digital soldering station to Al to have on hand for his "party", but I'm rethinking that now.

Now John, don't get your BVDs all wadded up. I understand you are a businessman and willing to negotiate. This is my final offer and Deb is mad at me for offering it, $1 per board. My Chinese engineers think that I am crazy to offer you such an exorbitant rate, but, we are friends after all. If you don't want it, I can always get those unemployed Nike sweatshop kids to handle this nastiness. They are unemployed due to the bad press. I would far prefer to keep my money in country. I anxiously and humbly await your reply.

Of course I will need proof of a surety bond but that should go without saying.
