Default LEDLightExpress - EXTREMELY slow service

Has anyone else had REALLY slow service getting DIYLEDLightExpress to ship an order?

I placed an order on 5/13 for something that was supposedly in stock, and they have the status of PROCESSING.

This is the second order that they have been extremely slow to process.

What have been your experiences with them?

    Thanks!

    Frank

p.s. Can you please suggest another source for CG housings? I dont want to spend any more time/money/frustration with them.

I have always had good results dealing with diyledexpress. I would contact them since there having a pre-sale running. Holidaycoro.com also has them however there pricing is a little higher.

I have contacted them on numerous occasions. Their communication on presale process sucked.

Their inability to process an order in 11 days sucks.

    Poor customer service.... Bottom line.

I will address it in orther forums to call them out. They need to change their way of conducting business.

    Thanks for the feedback.

I agree that 11 days to process a stock item is unacceptable.

I just got my shipment of P10 panels from the January pre-sale delivered today. They just got a container in at the beginning of May, and that's holding a lot of things up. The DIYLEDExpress guys have really been great to me for the past 5 years and I'll continue to give them my business in the future thanks to their low pricing. Sure, they are slow, but so is/was Radiant-Holidays and folks said the same thing about them. The problem is someone gets into selling items to help the community as a part-time job and before they know it they have 1,000's of orders coming in. With displays of their own, it can get overwhelming at times and having to respond to hundreds of emails about products doesn't help them ship things faster. I really think Amazon has spoiled us all with shipping lately, I remember ordering LEGO's from the shop-at-home catalog and having it take 2-3 months for delivery. And that was a multi-million dollar corporation at the time!

Could they do better? Sure, but so can Amazon. If you stay in the hobby long enough, you will see the same thing happen to all the new stores from the past two years. Either that, or the prices will go up so they can hire a shipper, packager, and customer service employee. Then someone will come along with "better pricing!", and the story repeats itself.

I have had fast service from them and really slow service from them. I assume if they are not swamped with pre-sales then they are fast. I don't know of any way of knowing if they are swamped, unless you can call them and get them on the phone before you place the order. It seems like the lowest prices are the most unpredictable. I think Holiday Coro is the most consistent with quick shipments.

Its now 5/30... ordered on 5/13.

Zero response from Todd or Dave. A complete break down in customer service.
