I am curious too. Generally these small transmitters all work about the same. I've had situations where fairly powerful distant carriers were blocking me, even tho the channel appeared clear. Antenna issues and antenna-cable issues can also tear you hear out ..

Well shoot. Maybe Yall know what happened to my trasmiter. I had hooked it up to my CB radio antener and was playing Skynrd and ACDC on it and it blowed up like a crazy person on Springer. Maybe I should get me a whole house trasmiter so Bubba can hear it down at his place.

Default DIY Christmas light use FM Transmitter

I'm a 1st year user of a Whole House unit (off LOR accessories site) - overall happy with it. Range was about 5 houses line of sight from the cheap long wire hung in my garage window. Biggest complaint was that if I install batteries AND plug in the USB plug, it turns off. I wanted the batteries to be used as a backup in case the DC plug got knocked out.

Ok, does the Whole House utilize a foldback circuit to detect high VSWR? EDM does. If not the final power amplifier will become the foldback and fail when an antenna is disconnected or an RF cable is damaged.

as it was mentioned in this posthttp://www.christmascarolina.com/forums/hardware/2997-rca-connector.html the rca connector came unplugged from my edm during its operation while it was transmitting and i found it and reinstalled it and it kept on going now how many other units would keep runing after that

It will not damage the TX with no antenna
