    Default Huge Christmas Display

I got to see something that was amazing tonight. It is one of the largest Christmas displays in the US.It has 2 million lights and 900 channels of control. I was astounded. It was at the Rhema Church in Tulsa, OK. The gentleman that is in charge of it, James, gave me a tour as the display was started. Several news crews were there and hundreds and hundreds of people attended the kickoff. James and I emailed each other from a post that I made on PC. He knew that I would be in Tulsa today and invited me to the kickoff. Here is the link to last years:

James is a master. The display was carefully made and showed the hundreds of hours of planning and execution. He said that his material costs this year were $130K. That does not include labor. James sequenced the songs himself and did a wonderful job.

I was allowed to share the turn on and behind the scenes of this display. I am a lucky man.

    Hi Denny,

He uses S2 and LOR hardware. But what separates his display from ours is that last year the tunnel drew 200 amps with incandescents. This year with LEDs it dropped to 23 amps. My display drew at peak 90 amps with no LEDs. His display draws almost 1000 amps for the total display. Eighty percent of the display is static. I know power and I was impressed.
