1) A big TV like in the Cowboys Stadium.
2) John giving me his CCRs.
3) Walter without his pink shirt.
4) An ATM that gives free $20 bills.
5) An exceptionally pretty lady in a bikini with a sign announcing the next presentation--kind of like a boxing match.
6) Mel giving me his CCRs.
7) William promising to buy me 3 CCRs at the summer LOR sale.
8) The girls from Hooters serving us lunch.
I haven't really thought a lot about it. I will and get back to you.

Sorry for hijacking this thread...... lol
I would like to see help with musical sequencing... I suggest one of our local meetings to have Denny to explain "Music" to us... I know for me this would be a big help... This will explain the simplest things like…. “What timing should I use?”
Making wire frame displays and animate it
Make it move (to servo or not servo)
DMX in your display
GFIs is it a religion
How to solder
How to wield
It should focus on DIY stuff mostly... Archive the lectures for watching later in help with what ever the project we may be making.
Yea we got off track on this thread.

One thing I struggle with is sequencing. Putting the right type of light pulse or fade at the right time so that it flows. I'm getting better, but I just don't have an "ear" for music.
RED MOUNTAIN LIGHTS
Mel,
They put up with me and my wireframe presentations the last couple of years, in Charlotte.
(I make all my own wireframes- have over 50 so far, and will start makeing some new ones probably in March -April time frame.
I would be glad to do it again (different presentation each time) if they will let me return to Charlotte anymore! (I've been accused of having too much fun in the past)

I think we could share more information with each other. Does anybody remember the power point presentation Kevin Cook put together? http://www.c3inet.com/GAMini/ His power point was full of good information. I think it would be neat to have a bunch of computers [laptops, desktops, DVD players] spread out around the room with presentation and videos sharing information with respect to this hobby. Anybody with something to share could setup their computer on a table.
Things I am interested in learning about this year:
FM transmitters Good vs. Bad
Different ways to build megatrees. What works and what doesn't work.
I think it would be a good idea for those attending the mini to create a little summary describing their display and what they are working on for 2010.
Could we setup the meeting in such a way to have breakout meetings? Last year we had an hour or so for Vixen. While I use Vixen, not everybody does. Maybe we could have a separate room for special presentations. ???
Not a bad idea, Brian
I was at the Georgia mini (April 08 I think) and watched most of Kevin's presentation. (I think I was coming up on the agenda, and I had to leave to go to the other room to finish setting up for my presentation.)

I'll be bringing everything LED along with controllers just as long as it's not held in June
I would like to see the Vixen presentation again, only this time lets get a presenter mike so I can hear it. Actually a mike for all the presenters would be good. Also would be good for the webcast. i'm sure hoping to return again. Had a good time last year and learned a bunch. Will try to get a couple of other GA folks to come up as well.
