    Default Christmas Carolina Convention 2010

    Am I crazy Thinking about next year Event Already?

    A couple of thing I think we need to work on for the next event.

    Live Broadcast of the Event

    * We need to make it more interactive with the viewer IE Twitter or Chat.
    * When I was watching the replays I noticed that I could not here the question from the audience.
    * Let Vendors know we will be Broadcasting and if they offer a door prizes we would be willing to hang a Banner(if they supply it) so it would also be seen in the Broadcast. We would also put there Logo on the Website and on the Handouts.

    I would like to find someone to do some new Presentations

    * Coroplast
    * FM Radios
    * Trains, Ferris Wheel or Carousel

    As for a Date what are your Thoughts?

    * Is it to early to try and lock down a date?
    * Was June OK or should we have it Earlier?

    That's it for now, Let me Know your thoughts.

    Carl, here's my interactive ideas.

    1) Live stream the event.
    2) Use Twitter, FaceBook, and a generic chat room for everyone to ask questions.
    3) Record all of them.

    I think June was a perfect time to host the event and we need to be putting out a date for next year in the next three months.

    Wayne mentioned the community center in Mooresville... so the three of us could check it out one day in July.

    I would love to make it a two day event with some vendors attending. PLUS will be on the west coast in 2010 so this is our opportunity to make it BIG.

    Let's get the media involved by send a press release to to WSOC, WBTV, WCNC, Fox Charlotte, Charlotte Observer, and a few other papers in nearby towns.

    All of the above is brain storming... take it for what it's worth, LOL!

    The Community Center is Charles Mack Citizen Center We can get together and check it out.

    If we have it in June again, it has to be the 1st or 2nd weekend as any later I will be to busy with Inventory at work.

    If we make it a 2 day event would it not be better to have it at a hotel?

    I would love to get the Media involved.

    Isn't Darren's wife an event planner? Myabe she would be willing to get involved.

    That's a nice place and cheap too.

    I think we need to seriously look at that.

    Yes I would like to bring a date. I will have to ask my wife first.

    * Is it to early to try and lock down a date?
    Wow Carl. You are a kinky guy.

    * Was June OK ...?
    I haven't dated anybody named June but I can look around and see if I can find a lady named June that wants to date me.
    Do we have to wear formal clothes like The Prom or do we have to wear pink shirts like Walter?
