    Nope. Not cancelled.

Got a list of local hotels.

Thank you to you all for your kind words. I am sorry that I am being a butthead right now. I was a butthead on a teleconference with the TASL Convention Steering Committee last night. Please forgive me. I told Deb to keep me away from people right now but when she looks away, I bolt out the door. If you see me running loose in the neighborhood please let Deb know.

Our teleconference last night, between bouts of me being rabid, we decided on a few things. The link with all the information including hotels and a link to pay for it will be available by Sunday if I don't make everyone mad.

Yo Ms Crazy ! We gave the date of August 27th several months ago .. And the long windows for airline flights are not always the best. It's a constant roller coaster no matter when you look.

There will be a free Friday afternoon event for the first 40 who sign up. It is a boat trip on Jordan lake on the Midnight Splash. Current plans call the departure from the Marina around 2pm. We'll anchor in a cove about a mile away, and then we'll get back to the dock around 4:30pm <no later than 5pm>. Plenty of shade on board for just kicking back, socializing, swimming & playing on the 12' water slide, or knocking your hair back on the Seadoo Jetboat. Midnight Splash is a 56 foot houseboat with 4 bedrooms, two bathrooms, living room and kitchen. About 700 sq ft inside, plus a large upper deck with a fly-bridge and party top upstairs. The jetboat has its own tilt ramp on the back, so it's the official "tender."

I am not certain how we will handle the sign-up <yet>. If possible we would like to automate the boat trip requests along with the tickets. But if that cannot be arranged then I will manage the list by opening another TOPIC and taking your requests through your posts. Wait until we get the ticket sales going and then we'll know how we can handle the boat trip.

Thanks for your smart ass comment. You've made my decision not to attend all the easier.

Btw, I've only missed one of the Carolina get-togethers and that was because of 3 days of tornado weather in the Dallas area.

Nothing smart ass about it. We gave everyone the date, but you said you couldn't come because you didn't have the date. Is there something else to this ?

I am so sorry for you loss. I had no idea. Stay strong and I'm think of you and your family.

    Overlook my dumb ass comment.

Be a butthead as long as you need to. You are among friends and we all understand.

One way? Brad would only make it to the deep part of the lake before he was "ejected" from the boat - which might not be too far from the dock!
    Mark

New location - new display. Looking forward to 2015 season!

Dang Larry, how did you get a picture of my ex-wife's mother? See even the tongue is brown from spewing acid. Naaahhh, now that I get another look that thing is way too skinny.
