Several people ask Rachel for the receipe for the Moravian Sugar Cake that she made so here it is.
Homemade Moravian Cream Cheese Sugar Cake
2 Cans of Crescent Rolls
1 Cup of Brown Sugar
1 (8-oz.) block of Cream Cheese
1/4 teaspoon Cinnamon
1 Cup of Powdered Sugar
1 Stick of butter, melted
1 teaspoon of vanilla
Spray a metal or tin pan with cooking spray. Do not use a glass pan.
Layer one can of crescent rolls on bottom of pan. Mix cream cheese, powdered sugar and vanilla. Spread over crescent rolls. Layer the other can of crescent rolls on top of cream cheese mixture. Mix brown sugar, cinnamon, and 1 stick of melted butter together and pour on top. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
