Default Not In The Carolinas... But

John, I'm going to get my boat registered again and head to Watts Bar sometime soon.

I cranked it today, which is the first time in two years.

Last time I went to Watts Bar, my friend and I caught a little over 200 cats.

I loved deep fried minnows. Sure takes a bunch of them to make a meal though. Bring lots of them. I'm hungry.

    Brad,

Watts Bar Lake is on the Tennessee River. It was created by a dam that also has locks to allow river commerce.

But notice in William's first post about catching 200 cats, Watts Bar Lake also serves as a cooling resevoir for a big nuke power plant, and all of those household kitty cats have mutated into an animal that now lives in the water.

    Now you know

Better then using lanterns for night fishing.

When I was a preteen, a group of us decided to go night fishing. One kid's dad had just purchased 4 really nice Coleman lanterns.

We hung those lanterns over the side our little flat bottomed boat secured with some bailing twine. In less then 5 minutes, the twine had caught fire, and in quick succession all of those lanterns were on the bottom of the lake.

If we had only had some of those glow-in-the-dark mutated cats, but alas, the nuke plants hadn't been built yet.

Since the nuke plant isn't built yet. I guess these South Korean scientist have been stocking the lake.
