    Default 1st day of setup

Today was a good day, got all the Christmas stuff down from the attic without killing myself. Got most of the stuff tested and repaired. Installed all the high stuff that requires a extension ladder except for one item. Got dark. I did get the usual "What is he doing?" looks and one "Hey I like the big snowflake!" I have all the controllers built and tested, power ready to go and all the cat 5 in place. I hope to have it all up by the end of next week and ready to fly on Dec. 1st. Hows everyone else doing? Good I hope.
And on the 8th day, God created Christmas lights.

    That's great Dave.

Well I started today. Did not get a lot done since donna is sick. But I am off all week so I should have it all done by the 27th I hope.

I hope Donna feels better soon, without your supervisor your blowbolds have a tendency to lean to the left, kinda like Al. I need to plan to be off the week before Thanksgiving next year, hopefully that will eliminate some of the setup stress I've been having.

Making progress on my setup finally. It took hours of leaf raking and blowing to get started. But still making lot of progress in the shop. Here are pics of the Mini Trees, my new FM Sign, and the LED Rope light border with candy cane posts.

You'll see in the FM sign picture that I chose the white wire and light body. It gives the lettering some extra contrast against the green board. To the left of the FM sign (same picture) is my compact outlet block we installed last week. Four 20a GFCIs, each with it's own breaker, and the outlets also have an indicator light so I know if they are on or off.

The three LOR boxes in the garage are mounted and all the mini trees are wired. You can see three of the mini trees along with the LOR controllers. One of the LOR controllers is on the wall in my far garage and the last two will be under the Mega-Tree.
