Default Looking for a 3/4" Pex Crimp Tool *********

I am trying to add a whole house water filter to the line coming in from my well. But it's 3/4" Pex and I don't own that tool.

Anybody in this area have one I could borrow ???
    Thanks,

Nope. I'll need a 3/4 cutting tool soon though. I think that's called a knife though...

Yes, but those are cheap .. My PVC cutter is also for pex .. I think I paid about $6 or $7 for it. Sadly, the crimp tools are more like $80. Still cheaper than paying a plumber. But I would rather save the cost if I can ...

... when I saw your post I thought you had one for me !

I've bought one at the store before and then returned it after using it. "My neighbor had one."

I received a PM suggesting the same thing. If I buy one, I'll just add it to my shop. I was hoping we had some "handy" men around here ..

I have a pex crimp tool that will do 3/8" to 3/4" pipe. I probably have a few rings too. I replaced every water line in my house last year with it - replaced the polybutylene with pex. You're welcome to borrow it.

Awesome ! I appreciate the loan. I am seeing you and I are both DIY'ers. As long is it's not in the ground or not over 300 pounds ... I'll always do it myself...

I'll get in touch with you to find a convenient time to pick it up. I'll bring it back to you at the Pi Day .. I already ordered rings because I need about 16 of them ...

I fix and repair as much stuff as I can around the house and vehicles, just haven't needed to do any PEX work so I don't have any tools for that.
