    Angry Wind... Enough Already!

    Anyone prepared for the wind?

Forecasters are saying gusts 65-70 mph in the mountains tonight through Tuesday morning.

Today, I plan to lower all four mega trees I can divert a disaster. This will be fun with 4-6 inches snow on the ground.

Here's the forecast for my area.

you have a beautifull place, up there in the mountains. However, I do not envy you having to deal with those winds.

I am hoping the snow hangs on the trees thru tonight. I have a home made led spot/flood light that is very bright, that I want to shine on the trees tonight.

hope you make it thru the next few days with no damage.

The snow took down a wax myrtle tree at the corner of my house. Landed right on one of my plastic "Miller" Christmas light trees and snapped it. I've got some pictures that I will be posting on Facebook shortly. The wind looks to be taking down more tress during the next few days...

    William -

Stay safe doing that. The only time I envy you your roads is when the leaves change from green; this time of year, I'm happier being here in the "flatlands"
