Default Judy Pancoast Info For High Country Lights

Here's information I sent around to various agencies about the concert.

High Country Lights will be hosting a live concert on December 18 from 6:00pm until 9:00pm.

Singer, performer, Grammy Nominee, Judy Pancoast, will sing "The House On Christmas Street", as well as other songs of the season. Plus, WXII-12 Meteorologist Austin Caviness will be emceeing the event as well.

Pancoast's 2010 International Tour began in the United Kingdom in early December. She arrived back in the states a week later and now she's visiting lighting displays all across America.

"I'm thrilled to visit North Carolina and looking forward to the trip" said Pancoast.

The display is located at Glade Creek Fire Department, 6374 Glade Valley Road, Ennice, N.C. which is in Alleghany county.

For more information on High Country Lights, Glade Creek Fire Department, and Judy's tour, visit www.highcountrylights.com.

Everyone is invited to this free concert and all donations will benefit the fire department.

Will she be singing to the music with a sequence already set up for her?

A weather man to MC the event? I'm hurt....I didn't get asked.
Demented? yes but in the best possible sense.

    Kevin,
    I assume you are going.
Unfortunately, my office party is that Saturday night down in Charlotte.
That would have been cool seeing Kevin the voice of the show on stage too.

FYI.... I may have to cancel the concert because of a pending weather system for Saturday. This one looks very impressive.

I'll let a few more forecast model runs go by before deciding.

I may pick Judy up and let her sing the song in the snow while taping it.

Oh man, that would suck. Hopefully you will still get some great video

Just ran across Holdman's video of her appearance. Taped after the show was over and all the bystander viewing people were sent home, and the gates to the neighborhood were closed and locked for the night.

    Man, that sucks, sorry.

William I was on the telephone with my brother (lives in Hendersonville) when you made your post. He is still in California, been doing some consulting work out there the past two weeks. Told him what you posted - "stays south". He will be home this weekend, he told me to tell you "Thanks". Looks like he might get home just in time to shovel his driveway.

BTW, my driveway is a solid sheet of ice tonight. Tomorrow morning going to work is going to be fun, if it continues to sleet all night.

That mess is supposed to get here around 3am tomorrow morning. Hoping it doesn't turn into a big sheet of ice. They've already delayed schools by two hours tomorrow. Sigh...

So far the concert is on!

That weather system looks to stay to the south of us. Good luck southern and eastern N.C., lol.

A big thank you to Judy Pancoast and Austin Caviness of WXII-TV for a great show.

Also, a BIG thank you to Larry Charpiat and Jack & Charity Stevens for coming out. I wished I had more time to spend but I had some much on my plate, that I lost some of my hair.
