Default High winds for the Triangle area tonight!

The weather man is predicting severe weather this evening! I guess it's time to see how my display is going to hold up.

    Bring it on !

I have the first 13 blowmolds installed with my new rebar mound design that I showed at the TASL meeting. Except after the meeting we perfected the design to being completely made of PVC pipe. I takes about 30 seconds to mount one, including the time to drive the 3/8" rebar in the ground. No support wires or other mounting gear needed. I am looking forward to the high winds (as a test) .. ! I will take some pictures and post details when I get time ..
    Thanks,

CNN said chance of tornados in our area. I hope not but it sure is hot outside which could fuel some.

Would anyone let me hold a dollar to sneak over to Denny's house tonight and tip over all his blowmolds, snap a few pictures and post them?

I had just bought my house that previous July .. Then later in November with the tornado, I was really wondering if I did the right thing to move here in Hurricane Alley ! It's been a good run for the last 22 years ..

The tornadoes that night tore up south of Apex then jumped over my house then started tearing up again. My dog was really upset that night. I was home recuperating from an operation and couldn't walk well. Had it not skipped over me I would have died. I worked with a couple people that had lost everything and had only the clothes on their back.

For you guys that were not here then, Kmart stood where Walmart is now.

Well... all of the Triad is under a Tornado watch until 4am. Folks in the Triangle, heads up and that's including South Carolina too.

We got whipped in Cary with lots trees n branches and crap down .. But the blowmolds survived the wind and Vic last night. Still standing proud. Even the 5 bears that are raised up about 28" off the ground with PVC frames .. The 3/8" rebar goes through the base and the bear's internal PVC ..

The static shock system also seems to be working. It was designed for Vic. But instead it seems to have paralyzed 2 squirrels and the neighbor's cat. I keep telling that cat to leave my blowmolds alone ..
    Thanks,
