SPT-2 Wire group buy in Raleigh Area

I am going to place an order for SPT-2 GRAY wire. The cost will be $80 per thousand feet unless we reach 5000 feet when it will drop to $70 per thousand. We should be able to make 5000 ft easily. The cost of shipping is unknown but was reasonable the last time. To make matters easy for me, you will need to buy wire in 1000 ft increments. You can pick it up from me at my home or at the Feb 20 TASL meeting as I will not ship it. Please post below the amount you want.

By getting this stuff in really large quantities we can get a pallet on a semi. The shipping cost drops dramatically. The folks at SkyCraftSurplus really saved us some money the last time by shipping on a pallet--to the tune of about $100+ if I remember correctly. Walter and I had to go pick it up at the freight yard in my truck but that was okay. You guys are worth it.

I believe the vampire plugs/sockets came from Action Lighting, Bozeman, Montana. I've always got good prices and great customer service from them...

The CDI pre-order price for plugs is a good deal. So good, I don't want to mess with doing a group buy on plugs. The plugs we ordered last year were about $7-7.40 per bag. CDI's pre-sale is $5.20. There is no advantage to order large quantities from CDI for the pre-sale that I know. So, if you want plugs order them directly from Paul.

The shipping cost last time for the wire was $85.50 for 10 spools or $8.55 per spool. We are currently at 11 spools. If I can get that shipping price again I will. That means a spool of SPT-2 wire should cost total about $78.55 or thereabouts. I can't guarantee any price other than the $70 material cost. For you guys sitting on the fence wondering if you should order wire, your window of opportunity closes in 48 hours.

Update: I spoke to Greg at SkyCraftParts and they are willing to do a pallet again. The cost should be about what I said it was. However, until the pallet is weighed the price cannot be guaranteed. Greg did us right last year and he will do us right this year too.
